Accessibility statement

How accessible arctic-fire.co.uk is, the standard we work to, known limitations and how to ask for information in another format.

Last updated 16 September 2026

We want everyone to be able to read this site, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or a phone in bright sunlight on a site walk.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We believe the site substantially meets that standard. In particular: every page is plain HTML that renders without JavaScript; text resizes to 200% without loss of content; headings follow a logical order; colour contrast between the sand, charcoal and ember brand colours has been checked against the AA thresholds; every link and button can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and shows a visible focus outline; and images carry descriptive alternative text.

Known limitations

  • A small number of photographs are illustrative stock images rather than our own work. Where that is the case, the caption or the image description says so.
  • The embedded Google Map on the contact page is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not control. The full address and directions are given as text beside it.
  • Documents we send on request, such as certificates and pre-qualification packs, may not all be fully tagged for screen readers. Tell us which one you need and we will supply an accessible version.

If you cannot use part of this site

Email fire@arcticltd.com or call 020 8769 8869 and tell us what you were trying to do. We will give you the information in another format — large print, plain text, or read out over the phone — and we will fix the page. We aim to reply within five working days.

Enforcement

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is responsible for enforcing the accessibility regulations. If you are unhappy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at equalityadvisoryservice.com.

How we tested

This statement was prepared on 16 September 2026. The site was tested by Arctic Fire using keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, and automated contrast and structure checks across desktop and mobile.

Certified, not self-declared.

Three BM TRADA Q-Mark schemes, named Approved Persons and an evidence pack for every asset we touch.
