Work we carry out is governed by a separate contract
Where we carry out surveys, installation, maintenance or fire stopping works, that work is governed by our written quotation, order acknowledgement and terms and conditions of trading, which take precedence over anything on this site. Certified works are delivered under the scope of our BM TRADA Q-Mark certification; where a request falls outside that scope we will say so in writing before starting.
Regulatory information
We describe legislation and standards — the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, the Building Safety Act 2022, BS 8214, BS EN 1634 and BS EN 1366 among others — as an aid to understanding. Summaries are not a substitute for the source document, and duties under them fall on the Responsible Person for the building, not on us. We take care to keep this material current but do not warrant that it reflects the law at the moment you read it.
