Selected projects, in their own words
Each of these is written up to the same template: what the building made difficult, what we actually did, and what the client was left holding at the end. Some are written without naming the client. Where we do not yet have our own photography of a project, the images are marked as illustrative.
The Design Museum, Kensington
Full BS 8214 survey of 195 doorsets across six levels for a managed-services client, using the FDIS methodology — every doorset photographed and QR-tagged, with a traffic-light prioritised and fully costed remedial programme.
Heathrow Airport — Live Terminals
Fire door and fire stopping works delivered under full airside permit control in live terminal environments — security-cleared operatives, out-of-hours working and zero disruption to airport operations.
Corporate HQ Campus, West London
Independent survey of a 110-doorset estate for the building owner, benchmarked against the incumbent consultant's assessment — producing a single, defensible doorset register and compliance position.
Quick-Service Restaurant Fit-Outs
Certified fire stopping delivered as its own package on restaurant fit-outs — penetrations sealed to tested detail before the ceilings close, with a photographed evidence pack for landlord handover.
Independent Prep School
Four FD30S doorsets installed under Q-Mark scheme 052 during the summer holiday — each labelled, fire-stopped to its tested detail, photographed and registered before the pupils came back.
Have a project like these?
Tell us about the building, the access constraints and the timescale, and we will set out how we would deliver and evidence the work.
The evidence is the deliverable
Every asset photographed — A register without photographs is a list of assertions. Ours carries the image taken at the moment of inspection or installation, which is often the only evidence that will ever exist.
Assessed against a named standard — BS 8214 and the FDIS methodology for doorsets; the manufacturer's tested scope of application for installed systems. We say which, on every line.
Delivered inside the building's constraints — Airside permits, listed fabric, safeguarding policies, event diaries and out-of-hours windows are design inputs, not excuses.
Handed over in a form that lasts — QR-tagged assets in Onetrace, so the next survey, repair or audit starts from the existing record rather than a blank sheet.
